Snappixify alternative for saving whole profiles, not one link at a time
Web downloaders are great for a single Reel. For an entire Instagram or Facebook profile that keeps posting, you want a desktop app that follows it.

Snappixify and sites like it do one job well: paste a link, get a file. If that’s what you need, use them. This guide is for the other situation — you want everything a profile has posted, and you want new posts to keep arriving without you copying links every week.
Where link-at-a-time downloaders run out
- One link per download. A profile with 600 posts is 600 copy-pastes. Snappixify does load a profile and let you pick posts, but you still select and download by hand each time.
- No memory. The site doesn’t know what you already saved, so you can’t “check for new posts”.
- Browser downloads. Files land in your Downloads folder with generated names; organizing them is on you.
- Pricing. Snappixify Premium is $24.95/month or $99.95/year at the time of writing, for a service that still needs you to drive it.
- Facebook profiles aren’t covered beyond single video links.
What “following a profile” looks like instead
With Stogramable on your Mac:
- Paste a profile link once.
- Load the posts, select all, download. Full carousels, Reels with audio, original sizes.
- Turn on daily checks. New posts download themselves into the profile’s folder while the app is open.
Each profile becomes a folder with Pictures, Reels and (for Facebook) Highlights inside. The app keeps a catalog so nothing is saved twice, and it works from an external drive if that’s where your archive lives.

This is the gap almost every downloader has.
