Automation
Set it and forget it, without a server.
Daily checks while the app is open
Followed profiles are checked once a day. Anything new is queued and downloaded; anything already saved is skipped by content hash, not just filename.
A queue you can see
Every file shows up in the Downloads tab with progress, per-profile counts, filters, and a retry button for anything that fails.
Careful by default
Bounded requests, cooldowns, and rate-limit backoff keep the app polite. If a source is throttling, Stogramable waits instead of hammering it.
Your library
Files first. Database second.
Stogramable writes ordinary files to ordinary folders: one folder per profile, named after the person or page, with Pictures, Reels and Highlights inside.
Keep the archive on your Mac or point it at an external drive. Every download is verified (checksum and decode) before it counts as saved, and duplicates are dropped. The catalog that tracks what you have lives outside the archive, so moving the folder is safe.
Cancel your subscription and nothing is deleted. The files were always yours.

Requirements
What you need
- Mac
- Apple Silicon (M1 or newer), macOS 13 Ventura or later. Windows is on the list — get notified.
- For Facebook
- A Facebook account of your own to sign in with inside the app. Public profiles only.
- For Instagram
- Nothing. No login, no cookies. Fair-use limits apply to how often profiles are checked.
- Disk space
- Whatever the profiles need — originals are saved at full size. External drives are supported.
